About our kurta collection
A kurta is a straight-cut men's shirt that falls past the waist. The slim fit in this collection sits closer to the body than a traditional baju Melayu but stays loose through the hem, so it looks neat without restricting movement.
Kurta are worn for Friday prayer, family gatherings and Hari Raya, and pair with slacks, jeans or a kain pelikat. Our range covers long and short sleeves, including a Swiss cotton design for Raya.
The cotton breathes, so a kurta stays comfortable through an event in the heat. The seams are finished so the cloth does not fray after a few washes.
We also stock baju Melayu buttons sold separately, to replace a lost button or to change the look of a shirt you already own. The sizes in stock are stated on each product page; if you are unsure, WhatsApp us your chest and shoulder measurements.
To pick a size, measure around the widest part of your chest and compare it against the measurement on the product page. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger one, because a slim fit sits closer. A short-sleeved kurta is more comfortable for a daytime event and in the heat; a long-sleeved one looks neater for an evening event and for Hari Raya.
